(More customer reviews)Until I purchased this!This nifty little vacuum achieves what no other vacuum can.It's powerful and robust yet light to handle.I was thinking about buying a Dyson, but they are so heavy to push around and I needed a flexible power head that can reach under furniture.The power head lays almost completely flat and slides easily under beds, sofa's and other furniture.All of the components are tough yet light.The hose is excellent and the telescopic part is made from aluminum, it's very solid.

It comes with a crevice tool and a dusting brush which are located on the hose handle and a separatewell made hard floor brush that has real bristles and wheels, and an upholstery brush.The fact that I don't have to pick fluff and dust off the filter is a real plus, the bagless models are usually so annoying for that reason.This vacuum cleans its own filter with a simple maneuver.

The controls are located on the hose handle and are push buttons not switches, there are 3, the on/off, bare floor/carpet and suction control of which there are 2 levels.There are two lighted (a cool neon blue!) indicators on the canister for suction level and filter cleaning.

It is very easy to lift off the dust container and you press a lever to empty it out.I found it better to do this without shaking or tapping thedust out too much as it can cloud out all over the container if you are not careful, I then just dusted the lid and body with a swifer duster to clean up the fine dust.

I was quite shocked at what the cleaner picked up, it seemed to remove dirt that was really embedded in my medium pile carpet and I had been vacuuming regularly with my Kenmoore.

The only problem I have is that the power head is noisy, but I can forgive that because it works hard.The canister itself is not noisy when you switch to bare floor it is quieter than average.Also, I am not sure that the power head picks up that well on the bare floor option, I got a better result using the bare floor brush.

All round a super stylish high tech piece of Swedish engineering.It is expensive, but you are buying the Rolls Royce of vacuum cleaners.

I'm very happy I found them since Electrolux is clearly in the business of ripping off their customers when it comes to supplies - and they make a very good vacuum - but they have no morals when it comes to selling you the bags you need to use their product.

Stock up! I've yet to find these any cheaper.

My opinion is that Electrolux has a wonderful reputation and paired with the potentially extreme convenience I decided to give this a try.I have 2 babies, 2 kitties, hardwood floors throughout with some ceramic tile and a couple of area rugs.This item is fabulous on each and every surface!I use it on all floor surfaces, rugs, furniture, even bedding (ie: kitties go under the bed leaving their fur on the dust ruffles) with great results!It will pick up kitty hair, remodeling dust, new rug shedding, cheerios, and more!I've seen gripes about emptying the 'chamber' and, in my opinion, if you don't want your stick vac to pick up debris - find a cheaper stick vac!This one is absolutely wonderful, worth every penny and then some!Buy It!

(More customer reviews)Honestly, I try to avoid cleaning at all cost. With this stick vac I almost get excited when I see a dust bunny running around. Went for this on as compared to the 9.6V models that can be easily found in Bestbuy or Target due to complaints about battery life. With the 12V model I can sweep the entire house on a single battery charge. Does an excellent job on our hardwood floors. The brush isnt really strong enough to pick up stuff from the carpet. I still gave it 5 stars because it works perfect for what I bought it for ... hardwood floors. Didnt really expect it to work on carpet; would be unrealistic to expect a stick vac to replace a plug-in standard upright. Would buy this again in a heartbeat and will even give you a demonstration if you come over ;-)

(More customer reviews)This cordless stick vac is lightweight, compact, and has an appealing design and color!It has a convenient base station, and has a built-in hand vac.The filter is easy to clean and has not only an easy to empty canister, but also a "twang" feature that helps you rid the filter of dust without soiling your hands.Awesome!The stick vacuum cleans my 850 square foot condo (all hardwoods) in a single charge, with charge to spare for using the hand vac on upholstery. (I haven't had to use it on carpet or in larger settings, so can't speak about it's performance there).It's compact, perfect for apartment-dwellers or for use in designated smaller areas of a larger home like kitchen, foyer, pet areas, etc.And frankly, I think it's adorable and LOVE the orange color - - very cheery when you're doing mundane work like vacuuming :)

People should have reasonable expectations of what a stick vac can do. A stick vac will never have the suction and power of a regular-sized vacuum, and you shouldn't expect it to!I keep a neat home, and vacuum once a week with my "regular" vacuum, a powerful, full-sized bagless upright with HEPA filtration that works great, but is kind of cumbersome and heavy to use everyday.

I use the ErgoRapido just for daily use in between "real" vacuumings, to keep my place neat and tidy everyday, free of cat hair/litter, crumbs in the kitchen, dirt tracked in the foyer from shoes, etc. - - and it works AWESOME for this purpose.I wouldn't expect it to do the job of a corded, full-size vacuum - - but it's awesome for everyday use to clean up little messes and dusty areas here and there.

I've owned other stick vacs in the past, and been disappointed with their performance (Dirt Devil "Vac-n-Mop" = TERRIBLE!).But this product so far is much better!I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a maneuverable, easy-to-use and sleek vacuum for light-duty work or cleaning in between "regular" vacuuming.
